To be a positive role model and influence to all we encounter. We will strive to maintain excellence in the arts, diversity, and community involvement in everything that we are a part of. We will educate our community on the importance and enjoyment of choral music.

To produce seasons of choral music incorporating the highest musical value. To enrich our community and spread joy, hope, and love. To achieve this, we will offer a year-round schedule which will offer 4 main concerts to cater to the various musical tastes within our community. We will host various events as part of our Community Outreach Program. We will welcome singers of all ages, races, national or ethnic origins, ancestries, religions, disabilities or handicap, and sexual orientations to participate in and be a part of the Iredell Choral Society.

 Joshua McCrary, Director

In 2010, Joshua McCrary brought a group of friends together to form a choir. The choir went on to perform their first concert in September. With help from his middle school chorus teacher, Joshua continued hosting the concerts and called the group “Iredell Choral Society.” He went on to file for non-profit status successfully in February of 2012. Joshua studied music throughout school and was an active member of the West Iredell High School Chamber Choir and Technical Theater. Throughout the last several years, Joshua has worked tirelessly to lead the Iredell Choral Society as a model organization within the Statesville Community. In 2017, our organization and Community Outreach Program expanded into Mooresville, NC!
In addition to leading this role, Joshua is also the Director of Senior Adults and Worship for Southside Baptist Church in Mooresville, NC. Joshua is the father of a precious 2 year old baby boy, Brayden!

 Krista Osborne, Advertising Director

The Iredell Choral Society is pleased to welcome Krista Osborne to our Board of Directors. Krista’s outgoing personality and love of people (and pets) makes her a great fit for the Advertising Assistant position. Krista currently assists the Director in making sponsorship and advertising phone calls.
